Never re-activate Office XP after a new re-installation.

 

This will only work if you have installed Office XP on the computer once and have activated this. Moving this file to a different computer will NOT work. This is simply so you do not have to activate again. This helps if you are not near a phone or do not have Internet access. Simply copy the DATA.DAT file to a disk. Simply put it back in the same place once you re-install Office XP. (Please do a search for DATA.DAT on your PC and make sure you put it back in the same place once you re-install office.)
