Scott from Yuma, Arizona just upgraded to the new Internet
Explorer. Now he gets a blank menu on his toolbar. When he
clicks on the blank spot, it goes away. What's up?
Leo, ahem, affectionately calls this "a cosmetic bug."
He's suspects the browser window isn't properly updating
itself. Events, such as a click, usually trigger a screen
redraw or refresh, but apparently there is a flaw
somewhere in the Explorer program and its just not
updating the taskbar in time. When you click on it,
Explorer realizes there's no button over there and redraws
it.
Annoying, huh? You could try a reinstall. Or you could
just try to ignore that blank menu.
