To change the title bar branding of IE5 go to the registry entry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
either delete Window Title in the right pane, or edit the text string to read as you would prefer. Restart IE. To return the animated icon to Microsoft's default spinning globe go to the registry entry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar
edit both BrandBitmap and SmBrandBitmap from their existing entries, and substitute the string 'Default' (or leaving it blank seems to work too). You could change it to other images (one for the small and large icon options) but make sure the image is small enough, the menu bar line will expand to fit the specified image. Restart IE.
